Free Zone Galati

Free Zone Galati is located in South-Eastern Romania in the immediate vicinity of Galati, on Danube’s bank, at short distance to the Black Sea and very close to the border with Republic of Moldavia.
The position of the Free Zone facilitates its use as an important depositing, warehousing and transit space between the European and Eastern markets and also as area which can serve a significant number of consumers.
Free Zone Galati is connected to DN-2B – Calea Basarabiei, which links Romania to Eastern Europe.
Also, the perimeter of the Free Zone includes both European railway with standard gauge and Russian railway with broad gauge, ensuring an excellent road communication to the countries located east of the European Union. 
Free Zone Galati allows direct access through its maritime-fluvial wharves to the Danube, the river connecting Europe to the Orient, through the Black Sea.
In the immediate nearness of the Free Zone Galati there are several economic objectives of national and international interest:
